The Rho Kappa Social Studies Honor Society is the only national organization for high school juniors and seniors that recognizes excellence in the field of Social Studies. Students at Bangor High School may apply for this honor in either their junior or senior year. The deadline for the application will be prior to February vacation. Students will be inducted into the society in April. Graduating seniors will be permitted to wear the Rho Kappa honor cords, and membership in Rho Kappa will be indicated on student transcripts.
