All BHS courses include a final exam that counts for up to 20% of the semester grade. Seniors must take the exam to be eligible for semester course credit unless exempted from the final by the teacher. 

At teacher discretion, seniors in strong academic standing in the course (“A” or “B”) heading into the exam may be exempted. Teachers will communicate clearly regarding exemption decisions. 

Exams take place over three days (Friday June 2, Monday June 5, and Tuesday June 6) and will be administered during the normal class period. These are full days of school.

Wednesday, June 7 is a make-up day for exams that were missed for excused reasons. Seniors must coordinate in advance with teachers for make-up exams to take place on this day. 

Exams are expected to be taken in the order of the student’s schedule as outlined in the table below. Any changes must be approved by an administrator and in consultation with teacher(s) in advance.
