2023 Midterm Exams Overview
All BHS courses include a midterm exam that counts for up to 20% of the semester grade in combination with Q1 & Q2 averages. Students must take the exam to be eligible for credit.
Exams take place over four days: January 24 – January 27
Exams are expected to be taken in the order of the student’s schedule as outlined below. Any changes must be approved by an administrator and in consultation with the teacher(s) in advance.
Students must be present for the entire exam session and will not be admitted after an exam has begun (8:00 am for the first session and 9:45 am for the second session each day).
Quiet study options for any period during which students do not have a scheduled exam.
Students are encouraged to take advantage of those quiet study options (library, cafeteria) but are not required to attend school during their non-exam sessions.
Normal bus routes will run on all exam days but will leave BHS at 11:35 am.
A late bus (with general east side / west side of Bangor routes) will leave BHS at 2:00 pm
