Among the largest comprehensive high schools in Maine, Bangor High School serves approximately 1,200 students in grades nine through twelve. Our students have a history of distinguishing themselves as outstanding academic, athletic, and community leaders. With a state-leading number of National Merit Semifinalists, an Advanced Placement Program that consistently yields student performance above state and national levels, dozens of AP Scholars, and over 110 co- and extra-curricular state championships, the culture of achievement at our school is special. As a recent BHS graduate shared, “It’s cool to be smart here.”
BHS takes great pride in the wide-ranging, noteworthy achievements of its students, and our accomplished teaching staff looks forward each year to guiding their continued growth and development. If you are interested in learning more about Bangor High School, please contact me at any time.
