Congratulations to Nadav Karsh, Meghna Vijay, Adam Tardy, Jasmine Juraboeva, and Gabrielle Raymond for their outstanding achievements in the Penobscot County Bar Association's Law Day Essay and Art Contest.
In the essay contest, Nadav Karsh secured first place, while Meghna Vijay claimed second place. Additionally, Adam Tardy received an honorable mention Nadav, Adam, and Emily received perfect scores on their essays from one of the judges, which is a remarkable accomplishment.
In the art category, Jasmine Juraboeva earned the second-place position. Furthermore, Gabrielle Raymond's artwork received a perfect score from one of the judges, showcasing her exceptional talent.
The students were recognized at the Law Day Ceremony,on May 2nd at the Penobscot County Judicial Center in downtown Bangor. Justice Andrew Mead of Bangor presented the cash awards of $500 and $250 to the winner and runner-ups. It's an incredible honor for these students to be acknowledged at such a prestigious event.
