To honor a legacy of achievement and belief in the power of education to change lives forever, the Bangor School Department will award two scholarships annually to graduating Bangor High School seniors intent on pursuing careers in education at either Husson University or the University of Maine. 

Announced at the Bangor High School  academic awards ceremony, the scholarships will be based on academic commitment, investment in co-curricular / extra-curricular activities, and evidence that award will meaningfully support the recipient’s pursuit of an undergraduate degree.
