The Rho Kappa Social Studies Honor Society is the only national organization for high school juniors and seniors that recognizes excellence in the field of Social Studies. Students at Bangor High School may apply for this honor in either their junior or senior year. Applications will be accepted during the first quarter of the school year, and students will be honored at an induction ceremony in the late fall.  Graduating seniors will be permitted to wear the Rho Kappa honor cords, and membership in Rho Kappa will be indicated on student transcripts.
