Among the largest high schools in Maine, Bangor High School serves approximately 1,200 students who carry a tradition of distinguishing themselves as outstanding academic, athletic, and community leaders. With a state-leading number of National Merit Semifinalists, an Advanced Placement Program that consistently yields student performance above state and national levels, dozens of AP Scholars, and over 120 co- and extra-curricular Maine state championships, the culture of achievement at our school is special.
